1. Customize your watch
Czapek’s dedication to bespoke timepieces goes back to its very beginnings when François Czapek was a watchmaker of the Napoleon III. Our craftsmen are taking every request in the highest importance, manufacturing timepieces to conform our client’s aesthetic wishes to the point that the watch becomes a true extension of the personality of the wearer. A Czapek watch reveals much more than just time.
2. Checkout your order
Once you configure your Czapek Timepiece and make it absolutely unique, we invite you to proceede to the check-out. Our concierge will keep in contact with you all through out the process of creation of your Czapek timepiece.
3. Receive your watch
You can pick-up your watch at one of our dealer (Chronopassion in France, Lionel Meylan in Vevey, Jubiler Plucinsky in Poznan, Noble Styling in Tokyo), or, if there is no Czapek official dealer in the area where you live, your favorite dealer. You can also pick it up in our office in Geneva, Rue Saint-Léger 2, or you can receive your Czapek timepiece at your home address. In any case, the purchase of your timepiece shall be always associated with a retailer. Please check our Retail Policy.
If / When you purchase a timepiece at Czapek.com, the sale made shall be associated with a Czapek official retailer or a Czapek official agent in your country or region. This retailer or agent will insure that you benefit from the proper customer care and after sales service. This service will be compensated by Czapek. If there is no official Czapek retailer in the country you live in, you may suggest the retailer of your choice. If not, we may in rare cases proceed with the sale directly. Our Retail Policy is to work hand in hand with the best multi-brand retailers in the world. We know that most watch collectors like to get closer to the manufacture, and we open widely the door to start this conversation and involve them (you!) in the process. Yet retailers play a key role in servicing the clients and fostering the passion for fine watchmaking, so we insist to have them part of the « conversation ». Our approach is « by watchlovers for watchlovers » and we manufacture each piece one by one and for a specific customer… This passion for watchmaking involves the best partners should they be suppliers or retailers. They all take part in the « Czapek family ».
Authenticity & Warranty
Service, Warranty & After-sales
One of the 3 founders of the revived Czapek, Sebastien, is a watchmaker expert in Timepieces After-Sales servicing, and we have put it as a central element of our long-term success. All Czapek Genève timepieces, sold through retail partners or directly, come with a 3 years international product warranty, one year more than the usual practice in the industry. Our watchmaker will personally take care of your After-Sales inquiries, and will give you a prompt answer (10 days) regarding the servicing of your watch. On top of our own After-sales commitment, we have taken an extra commitment with Chronode, which will provide the movement after-sales components and repair service to our customers for a period of 15 years after the last order we make.
Preserving your Czapek For all mechanical timepieces, a good maintenance is the key to guarantee the long life of your Czapek. In order to ensure this, we recommend your Czapek be serviced every 4-5 years. In order to minimize wear of your Czapek we recommend the following:
- The Czapek Quai des Bergues collection is manually wound. Avoid over-winding the crown when winding. When the watch has reached maximum wind, the crown encounters severe resistance to further winding. Stop at this point. Be sure to follow the instructions of your timepiece.
- The Quai des Bergues collection has a water resistance of 3 atmos (30 meters) for the gold versions and 5 atm (50 meters) for the Titanium and steel versions. Alligator straps are not water-resistant and will get torn quickly if you use your piece during aquatic activities. We recommend to use our rubber strap for these activities, keeping in mind that diving activities should be done with diving watches.
- Avoid extreme temperature changes (above 50C or bellow -10C) as it might affect the metal components.
- Your timepiece is shock-resistant for everyday use, such as knocks and bumps. However we strongly advise against exposing your Czapek to heavy shocks (such as might be encountered in sports).
- Avoid direct contact with chemical agents such as detergents and cosmetics, as they may negatively affect your watch or bracelet.

Returns & Shipping Policy
- We want you to be completely happy with your order. Subject to certain exceptions set forth below, if for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly accept your return within 30 days after receiving of the (original) merchandise.
- Please note: a return authorization must be initiated within 30 days of receiving the timepiece and product returned within 10 days of the return authorization being issued. Further, all products must be returned with the original receipt, in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all original shipping and product packaging, protective materials, and tags in place. Czapek will not accept any return if the timepiece shows signs of wear, or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way, or if the 30-day return authorization has passed.
- Personalized timepieces are considered a final sale and cannot be returned for exchange or refund.
- Watch bracelets that have been adjusted at the customer’s request must have been done so by Czapek or a Czapek Authorized Retailer and should be returned with all the links originally shipped.

- After 30 days, all timepieces in need of servicing should be sent to the customer service center and will be covered under the 3 year warranty.
Shipment & Delivery
- During the 14 days following your order confirmation you will be able to cancel or change your order. Due to the fact that each timepiece is custom made, the right of withdrawal is excluded after 14 days.
- Within 3 weeks, Czapek will inform you regarding the approximate date of the beginning of the manufacturing and of the delivery.
- The final payment will be due when Czapek informs of the actual shipment of the timepiece.
- To protect your Czapek timepiece, an adult’s signature (21+) is required upon delivery.
- Please refer to your shipping confirmation email from Czapek for exact delivery details.
- For orders totaling over 50,000 CHF, a Czapek Client Services Representative will contact you to arrange for delivery via secure courier.
All the orders are available for shipping worldwide. You also have an option of picking up your timepiece at our Geneva Atelier or at your preferred retailer.

Once your order has been placed, we will contact you personally by email or phone in order to check with you the details of your order. We will then inform you of the total price and the costs of shipping and send you a confirmation. Orders will be deemed accepted once the first down payment will have been credited on Czapek’s bank accounts. You can make your payments on-line using Paypal, Stripe or through a direct transfer. In the case of Direct transfer, you can choose to make the payment in Swiss Francs or Euros. During the 14 days following your order confirmation you will be able to cancel or change your order. Sales conditions & warranty
Czapek warrants the products for a period of three (3) years as of date of delivery to the final Customer. The warranty applies solely to the Czapek timepiece mentioned in the invoice. Customer shall never open a timepiece delivered by Czapek, even if he may have detected a defect. Should the piece be opened without Czapek’s authorization, the repair (or exchange) of the watch shall be invoiced to the Customer, even though the watch is still under warranty. If the storage conditions or the handling of the timepiece by the Customer should prove to be at fault, the After-Sales service costs will be invoiced to the Customer. If repairs are made within the warranty timeframe, Czapek shall pay all the necessary costs for the after-sale service (transport fees, insurances fees, repair fees, etc… If the repair is no longer within the warranty timeframe, all the aforementioned costs shall be paid by the Customer. In such a case, Czapek shall provide an estimate for the repair and shall give a delivery date. Once the estimate is accepted, Czapek shall repair the watch and return it. Customers shall not send back a watch without prior notice to Czapek by email and without a proper transport insurance. Czapek is sole in charge of the After-Sale Service in its location in Switzerland. To ensure the timepiece remains in excellent working order, Czapek recommends that the owner has a service carried out every 5 years. All other elements shall be defined according to the dispositions of the Swiss Code of Obligations. Execution of payment will be considered as acceptance of the T&C and order confirmation.
